The most highly awarded & only Laekenois in Australia to win Best Exhibit in Specialty Show against 80 dogs of all 4 varieties. Not only a BISS winner, he holds the record of 16 Best Of Breed at specialty level and a record number of class in specialty for a laekenois ..recognised by breed specialists from Sweden, Belgium, England, Holland, France, America and Denmark. Mr Gert Christiansen (Denmark)who awarded Riley at a recent specialty show BOB and Best Australian Bred in show noted his "typical head,nice square body, nice dark eyes, well set ears and perfect coat in the head.
He is also a multiple class in group winner at the All Breeds level, recently won Aust Bred in Show at Numerkah Ag Show, has won BOB at all 5 of the Melbourne Royal shows he attended and was RU in Show at the Vic Belgian Club Open Show 2005. Above all he is an absolute joy to live with, a constant companion and loyal guardian. He has shown a keen interest and natural talent for sheep herding, the training of which he is absolutely loving. Despite his relaxed demeanor around the show ring he is an avid, noisy and keen herder and will continure with his herding training this year.
